Terms of service

Last updated

These terms are the agreement between your organisation and DMU for using DMU Mail. Please read them together with the Privacy policy and the Data processing agreement, which form part of them.

1Who we are

DMU Mail is provided by Konstantinos Mitsouras, a sole proprietorship trading as DMU, Krystalli 7, Marousi 151 25, Attica, Greece (ΑΦΜ 174926054, ΔΟΥ Αμαρουσίου). In these terms, “we” means DMU, and “you” means the organisation that signs up and the people it invites.

2The service

DMU Mail lets your team read, assign and answer email from the mailboxes you connect. Your mail stays with your email provider; we keep a synced copy so the service can work.

During the private beta, access is by invitation and features may change. We’ll tell you about changes that affect how you work.

3Your account and your team

  • Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your password and second factor safe, and tell us at once if you think someone else has access.
  • Administrators decide who joins your organisation, what each person can see, and which API keys exist.
  • You’re responsible for what happens under your organisation’s accounts.

4Acceptable use

Don’t use DMU Mail to send spam or unlawful content, to break into other systems, or to get round the limits that keep the service healthy for everyone.

We may suspend an account that puts the service or other customers at risk. We’ll tell you why, and restore access once the problem is fixed.

5Plans, billing and VAT

Paid plans are billed monthly, per member, in advance. Prices exclude VAT, which is added at the rate that applies to you, and invoices carry your ΑΦΜ and ΔΟΥ.

You can change or cancel your plan at any time from Plan & billing. Cancelling stops the next charge.

6Your data

Your mail, files and settings belong to you. We process them only to provide DMU Mail, as the Data processing agreement describes, and never to advertise to you or to anyone else.

You can export your data at any time, and delete your organisation from Settings.

7Availability

We work to keep DMU Mail available and publish its status at status.dmu.gr. We can’t promise it will never be interrupted, especially during the beta, and we announce planned maintenance in advance where we can.

8Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

9Ending the agreement

You can stop using DMU Mail at any time by deleting your organisation. We can end the agreement if you seriously break these terms, after telling you and giving you a chance to put it right. Either way, you’ll have 30 days to export your data.

10Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Greek law. We’ll try to settle any disagreement informally first, then through mediation. If that fails, the courts of Athens have jurisdiction.

11Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll email your administrators before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
