Contacts and the details panel

Shared contacts for the whole organisation and personal ones of your own, right beside the conversation. Press i to see who you are writing to.

The details panel beside a conversation: Anna Papadaki’s email, phone, VAT number and custom fields, with Open contact.

What it does

Know who you’re writing to

  • See who it is

Their contact details beside the conversation, without leaving it.

  • Their history with you

Your other conversations with them, and the files you have exchanged, each with a search.

  • Fill in your replies

Custom fields such as an account number fill into saved replies on their own.

  • Bring them in

Import from CSV, vCard, JSON or XML, or from the people you have written to.

How it works

Three steps

  1. 1

    Add or import

Add contacts by hand, import a file, or start from the people you write to. Existing contacts are updated, never duplicated.

  2. 2

    Add your own fields

Administrators add fields such as Account number, for everyone to use.

  3. 3

    Open the details panel

In any conversation, press i or the info button.
