Trackers blocked
Tracking pixels that tell a sender when you opened a message are removed before you see it, even when you show images. A small icon on the message lists what went.

What it does
Opened, but not reported
Removed before you see it
The pixel is taken out while the message is prepared, so it never loads and cannot report that you opened it.
Even when images are shown
Choose Show images and the trackers still stay out. Only ordinary pictures load.
Known services, hidden pixels
It knows the pixels of services such as Mailchimp, HubSpot and Klaviyo, and removes tiny or hidden remote images.
See what was removed
An icon in the message header says how many trackers went, and lists each one with the service it came from.
How it works
Quietly, on every message
- 1
It arrives
While DMU Mail prepares the message, it checks every remote image against known tracking services, and for tiny or hidden ones.
- 2
You open it
The trackers are already gone, whether or not you show images. A small icon in the header says how many were removed.
- 3
You look closer
Click the icon to see each one: the service, where it came from and, for a hidden image, its size.
Good to know
The details
- Always on
- There is nothing to switch on. It applies to every person and every mailbox.
- What it can’t catch
- A tracker that markup alone cannot show to be one, such as a pixel with no declared size, is not caught. Links are left as the sender wrote them, so click tracking is not affected.
- Where you see it
- In the header of an open message, only when something was removed. List rows and collapsed messages never show it.
