Delete a mailbox

DELETE/mailboxes/{id}

Removes a mailbox from DMU Mail with every thread, message and attachment in it. There’s no undo, so the body has to repeat the mailbox’s address.

Needs the permissionmailboxes:delete

This deletes the mail

Its conversations, their history and their files all go. Only Full access keys have mailboxes:delete; keep it that way for anything a stranger could get hold of.

Errors

400confirmation_required
The body has no confirmEmail.
400confirmation_mismatch
confirmEmail isn’t this mailbox’s address.
401invalid_key
The key is wrong, expired or revoked. With no Authorization header at all, the code is missing_credentials.
403missing_scope
The key doesn’t have mailboxes:delete. The X-Required-Scope header names what’s missing.
404not_found
There’s no such mailbox, or the key’s owner can’t see it.
429rate_limited
More than 120 requests a minute from this key. Wait for Retry-After seconds.
