Forgotten attachment
DMU Mail asks before it sends a message that talks about an attachment when none is attached. Choose Attach files, or Send anyway if you did not mean one.

What it does
Before the file is forgotten
It reads your own words
Words such as “attached” in your text or subject count. Quoted history and your signature do not.
Attach on the spot
Attach files opens the file picker without sending. Press Send again once the files are in.
Your own list of words
Add or remove the words it listens for. It starts with common English and Greek ones.
Asked only once
Pull a message back with Undo and send it again unchanged, and it does not ask a second time.
How it works
Mention it, send it, get asked
- 1
Write as usual
Say it in your own words, such as “Please find the invoice attached”.
- 2
Press Send
If a listed word is there and nothing is attached, DMU Mail asks “Forgot the attachment?” and quotes the words it found.
- 3
Choose
Attach files to add them now, or Send anyway to send the message as it is.
Good to know
The details
- Who can use it
- Everyone. It is on by default, and each person can switch it off.

- Settings › Writing › Attachment reminder, where you also edit the words.
- Matching
- Capitals and accents do not matter, and a word must start where a word starts. A picture in the message counts as attached.
- Limits
- Up to 20 words or phrases, each up to 40 characters.
- Every way of sending
- It asks on Send, Send later and Ctrl Enter alike. On a phone the question opens as a sheet from the bottom.
