Invite people
Invite a colleague by email, or copy a link and send it yourself. They join as a member or an administrator, can accept with Google or Microsoft, and the invitation lasts a week.

What it does
Bring the team in
By email
Enter an address and a role. The email and the join page follow the language of the person who invites.
Or by link
Copy the link and send it yourself. It works only for the invited address, and they confirm it with a code.
Join with Google or Microsoft
The invited person can sign in with Google or Microsoft as that address, instead of typing the emailed code.
A week to join
An invitation lasts 7 days. Resend it for a fresh link, or cancel it and both its links stop working.
How it works
Invite, then add to teams
- 1
Invite
Open Settings › People and choose Invite. Enter one address and a role, then choose Send invitation.
- 2
They join
They open the link, confirm their address and choose a password, or sign in with Google or Microsoft. Someone with an account just signs in.
- 3
Add them to teams
A new person starts in no team and sees only the mailboxes shared with everyone. Add them in Settings › Teams.
Good to know
The details
- Who can invite
- Administrators. Members can too if an administrator allows it in Settings › Permissions, as members only, and they manage only their own invitations.
- Where
- Settings › People. The Invited list shows who is waiting, with Copy link, Resend and a button to cancel.
- Safety
- A link works only for the invited address, and the person proves it with a 6-digit code that lasts 10 minutes. Activity records each invitation and each copied link.
