Permissions
Choose who can do what: assign to others, move mail to Trash or Spam, manage labels, trust senders, invite people and more. Each for everyone, administrators only, or chosen teams and people.

What it does
Choose, one thing at a time
One setting for each thing
Assigning, Trash and Spam, labels, shared contacts, trusted senders, signatures and invitations each have their own.
Everyone, administrators or chosen
Each can be for everyone, for administrators only, or for chosen teams and people.

Good to know
The details
- Who can use it
- Administrators change permissions. An administrator can always do everything, and a suspended or removed person can do none.
- Where
- Settings › Permissions, and a person’s Permissions tab in Settings › People.
- Roles
- There are two roles, administrator and member. Permissions are how you let members do more.
- Defaults
- A new organisation starts with administrators only for inviting people, making signatures for others and moving shared mail into a private mailbox, and everyone for the rest.
