Mentions
Type @ in the team chat to bring a colleague or a whole team in. They are told at once, and can open the conversation even without access to the mailbox.

What it does
Bring the right person in
A person or a team
Type @ and pick from the list. Mention a team and everyone on it is mentioned.
This conversation only
Someone who can’t see the mailbox gets this one conversation. The list says so before you send.
They are told
A mention always lands in their bell, with a banner in the browser or the Windows app if they have turned those on.
You can take it back
Whoever gave the access, or an administrator, can remove it later. It asks first and offers Undo.
How it works
Type @ and pick
- 1
Type @
In team chat, a list of people and teams opens. It shows each person’s team and whether they can already see the conversation.
- 2
Choose
Use the arrow keys and Enter, or click. Esc closes the list. Then send your note.
- 3
They are in
They are notified and can open the conversation. The history records it, such as Eleni gave Nikos access by mentioning them.
