Inside archives and emails
Open a file inside a ZIP, or inside an email attached to a message, without downloading anything. Come back to the archive or the email with one click.

What it does
Look inside
Look inside a ZIP
The preview lists the files in an archive, and any of them opens without being downloaded.
Read an attached email
An attached .eml opens like a message, with From, To, Cc, date, subject and body.
Its attachments too
A file attached to that email, or an email inside a ZIP, opens from the same preview.
Back in one click
A link at the top takes you back to the archive or the email you came from.
How it works
Open, open again, go back
- 1
Open the archive or email
Click the ZIP or .eml attachment, as you would any file.
- 2
Choose a file inside
Pick a file from the list, or one of the email’s attachments. It opens in the same window.
- 3
Go back
Choose the link back to the archive or the email, or close the window to return to the conversation.
Good to know
The details
- How deep
- Two levels in, such as an email inside a ZIP, and a file attached to that email. Anything deeper downloads.
- Limits
- A file opened from inside an archive can be up to 32 MB, and an archive can hold up to 10,000 files.
- Passwords
- An archive with a password cannot be previewed. Download it and open it with its password.
- Safety
- Archives and emails are opened in a sandbox on our servers, never on your device. An email’s web images stay hidden until you choose Show images.
