What it does
Look before you download
Opens in place
PDFs, photos, video and audio open in front of the conversation, with progress for large files.
Spreadsheets and text
XLSX and OpenDocument spreadsheets open as a read-only grid. Text, CSV and code show with line numbers.
Page through pictures
Move through a conversation’s pictures, zoom and rotate them, and jump to any attachment from the strip.
Formatted or source
Markdown and HTML open formatted, with a switch to the source. DMU Mail remembers your choice.

Download is there from the start. Print works for PDFs, spreadsheets, text, emails, Markdown and HTML.

- Which files
- PDF, pictures including iPhone HEIC and SVG, video, audio, XLSX and ODS spreadsheets, attached emails, ZIP archives, Markdown, HTML, and text, CSV and code files.
- Not yet
- Word, OpenDocument text, RTF and PowerPoint files, and any file over 100 MB, download instead.
- On a phone
- The preview fills the screen, with pinch and double-tap zoom and swipe gestures.
- Safety
- Spreadsheets, archives, emails and pictures such as SVG are read in a sandbox on our servers, and no formula or script in them runs.
