Business hours and holidays

Set your opening hours, time zone and closed days once. Automations use them to tell in hours from out of hours, and reply times in Analytics count open hours only.

An automation: if the subject has bill, invoice or receipt and the sender is outside the organisation, label it Invoices and assign the Accounts team in turns.

What it does

Open when you say

  • Opening hours

Set each day’s opening and closing time, or mark it closed. Copy Monday’s hours to the other weekdays.

  • Your time zone

Hours follow the zone you choose, and summer time is handled on both sides of a change.

  • Holidays and days off

Add Greek public holidays for the year in one click, and any other closed day by name.

  • Waits in working hours

A rule can wait, say, 4 working hours, and skip nights, weekends and closed days.

How it works

Hours, zone, closed days

  1. 1

    Open it

Go to Settings › Details › Business hours. Only administrators can change them.

  2. 2

    Set the week

Choose the time zone, then the opening and closing time for each day. Changes save as you make them.

  3. 3

    Add closed days

Add the Greek public holidays in one click, then any other day your team is off.

Good to know

The details

Who can use it
Administrators set the hours for the organisation. Everyone’s automations then work by them.
Where
Settings › Details › Business hours.
Until you save
Until an administrator saves hours, automations work by Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, Athens time.
Closed days
A closed day is closed all day, whatever the weekday says. Up to 200 can be kept.
Reply times
Once hours are saved, reply times in Analytics count open hours only, so Friday evening mail answered on Monday morning is not two days late.
