Composer

Write in a panel docked at the bottom of the window, or pop it out into its own tab or window. Keep several drafts open, and never lose what you were writing.

What it does

Write where you work

  • Docked and ready

New message, Reply, Reply all and Forward open a panel at the bottom of the window.

  • Several drafts at once

One draft is open and the rest wait as bars along the bottom, never in your way.

  • Its own tab or window

Pop a draft out into a browser tab, or its own window in the Windows app, to write beside your mail.

  • Saved as you write

Your draft is kept on our servers as you type, so a closed tab costs you at most a moment.

How it works

From first word to Send

  1. 1

    Start

Choose New message, Reply, Reply all or Forward. On a computer or tablet you can press C, R, A or F instead.

  2. 2

    Write

Add recipients, a subject and your text. Format it, and attach files by dragging them in or with the paperclip.

  3. 3

    Send, or set it aside

Press Send, or Ctrl Enter. Minimise a draft to come back to it, and find unfinished ones in Drafts.
