Filters and sort

Narrow any list to what you need, with a click or with up to 16 conditions, and sort it your way. Each filter shows as a chip you can remove, beside the number of conversations that match.

The Filter menu under Everyone or Mine: Unread and Has attachments ticked, with mailbox, assignee and sort below.

What it does

Narrow it down

  • Quick filters

Unread, attachments, important, team chat mentions, a mailbox or an assignee, applied as you pick.

  • Sort your way

Newest or oldest, unread first, largest or smallest, or waiting longest for our reply.

  • Advanced filters

Combine up to 16 conditions with all or any, and sort by up to three levels.

  • Chips and a count

Each filter is a chip you can remove, and the count shows how many conversations match.

How it works

Filter, sort, save

  1. 1

    Open Filters

Click the Filters button beside the search box, or press Shift F, and tick what you want to see.

  2. 2

    Go further

Choose Advanced filters to match on the sender, subject, text, label, date, attachment type or size, and more.

  3. 3

    Keep or clear

Remove a chip to drop one filter, or Clear them all. To keep a set, save it as a view in your sidebar.
