Saved views
Keep a set of filters and a sort as a view in your sidebar and open it in one click. It lists what matches when you open it, and it is the same on every device.

What it does
Your own views
Save what you use
Set filters and a sort, then choose Save as a view in the sidebar and give it a name.
Always up to date
A view lists what matches when you open it, so new mail shows up by itself.
Yours, on every device
Views are personal, kept with your account, and the same wherever you sign in.
Change it as you go
Change the filters while a view is open and the view changes. Rename or delete it from its menu.
How it works
Filter, save, open
- 1
Filter
Set filters, or a sort other than newest first, on any list, in the Filters menu or in Advanced filters.
- 2
Save
Open Advanced filters, choose Save as a view in the sidebar, name it and press Save view.
- 3
Open it
Find it in your sidebar. Move it with Customize sidebar, and rename or delete it from its menu.
Good to know
The details
- Who can use it
- Everyone. Views are personal: nobody else sees yours.
- What it keeps
- The list and mailbox it was made in, its filters with all or any, its sort, and whether it was on Mine.
- Limits
- Up to 50 views each, with names up to 60 characters.
- If something goes
- Deleting a view removes it from your sidebar only. A mailbox you lose access to simply matches nothing.
