Mailbox icons

Give each mailbox an icon, an emoji or a logo on a colour of its own, so the team can tell orders@ from accounts@ in the sidebar and wherever you pick a mailbox.

The inbox, with shared and private mailboxes in the sidebar.

What it does

Tell them apart at a glance

  • Icon, emoji or picture

Pick one of 50 icons or 60 emoji, or use your organisation’s logo or a picture of your own.

  • A colour of its own

Put it on grey or on one of nine colours.

  • Search by meaning

Type invoice or delivery, and the icons and emoji that fit come up.

  • On mail it sent

Mail a shared mailbox sent shows that mailbox’s icon, round like every other face.

How it works

Pick a look

  1. 1

    Open the mailbox

Go to Settings › Mailboxes and choose it. The Icon card on the General tab previews it in a light and a dark sidebar.

  2. 2

    Choose a style

Default, Icon, Emoji or Image, then a background. Every pick saves at once, for everyone.

  3. 3

    See it everywhere

It shows in the sidebar, on the mailbox’s page, in the Move menu, on a conversation’s mailbox chip and in Settings.
