Shared inboxes

Connect info@, orders@ and accounts@ once and the whole team works from them. Everyone sees the same mail, and who is dealing with each conversation, at a glance.

The inbox, with shared and private mailboxes in the sidebar.

What it does

One address, the whole team

  • Together in the sidebar

Shared inboxes have their own group, each with its unread number and its own views.

  • Unclaimed mail waits

A shared inbox’s Inbox holds what nobody has taken yet. Once it is assigned, it moves on.

  • Read marks are yours

Whether you have read a conversation is yours alone. A colleague’s unread marks never change yours.

  • Answer from the right address

Add the other addresses a mailbox answers to, and each reply goes out from the one the mail was sent to.

How it works

From connected to shared

  1. 1

    Connect the address

An administrator adds it in Settings › Mailboxes. Gmail and Microsoft 365 connect with a Google or Microsoft sign-in.

  2. 2

    Choose who sees it

Everyone in the organisation, or the teams and people who answer it. You can change it later.

  3. 3

    Work on it together

Assign conversations, talk them over in team chat and close them when they are done.
