Use cases

What changes for an accounting office

  • 01

    One accountant per client

Assign each client’s mail to the person who keeps their books, and cover for each other without sharing a password.

  • 02

    Read invoices in place

Preview PDFs and spreadsheets without downloading them, and find any invoice email by its number.

  • 03

    Answer the monthly questions once

Saved replies for the requests that come every month, with the client’s name filled in.

  • 04

    Your own mail stays yours

Each accountant keeps a private inbox next to the shared ones. Nobody else in the office sees it.

A day with DMU Mail

Month end at clients@

  1. September’s invoices arrive

Aegean Freight sends a month of purchase invoices to clients@. Ελένη keeps their books, so she takes it.

  2. Checked without downloading

She previews the PDF and the spreadsheet in place and checks the totals.

  3. Cover for a colleague

Δημήτρης is on leave. Κατερίνα answers his clients from the same address, signed in as herself.

  4. The monthly question, once

A saved reply answers the VAT question with the client’s name already in it.

FAQ

Questions from accounting offices

Can each client’s mail go to one accountant?
Assign it to them. Everyone sees who has each client, and anyone can step in when they’re away.
Where is our clients’ mail stored?
In the EU. DMU Mail runs on Hetzner servers in Nuremberg, Germany.
Do we have to change email provider?
No. DMU Mail connects to the mailboxes you already have, over IMAP and SMTP.
